Samuel Stubblefield is an artist that uses technology to observe, explore, experience, and build within the far reaches of the known universe.

With a deep interest in space, Stubblefield works with public and private agencies to extend the story of life into space. Stubblefield is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and speaks globally on the topics of art and space.

On Earth, Stubblefield’s work continues its exploratory nature with novel uses of artificial intelligence, electroencephalograms, biometric sensors, computer vision, robotics, and numerous other instruments used to experience our world and each other in new ways.

Outcomes are experiences that combine visual, sonic, and performative arts with interactive and immersive environments, always aiming to awaken a connection with broader nature.

Stubblefield has exhibited works and environments globally, has composed music and performed live with a number of Grammy-Award-winning artists, symphonies, and choruses, and has multiple awards for his work in the field of architecture and design.

The studio operates out of New York, the Hudson Valley, and Seattle, and maintains a global network of distinguished collaborators in the fields of art, science, engineering, and philosophy.
