LUNAR SANCTUARY 00001 establishes the first nature sanctuary and first landform artwork on the Moon.

Scheduled to land in 2026, the project uses the wheel imprints of the Astrolab FLIP rover to draw a circular boundary at the lunar South Pole. This project merges art, planetary stewardship, and historic cultural opportunity, positioning sponsors as foundational patrons of off-Earth culture.

PROCESS

PHASE I: Launched as part of NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) initiative, the Astrolab FLIP rover will land on the Lunar surface and begin to navigate to a hibernation zone within the Moon’s Nobile Crater region.

PHASE II: Once at the hibernation zone, the rover will begin to “draw” a circle using the imprints of its wheels to demarcate the first off-Earth nature sanctuary, and the first landform art in space.

PHASE III: Finally, the rover will complete a contiguous circle and begin to broadcast an internationally-recognized beacon, instructing other spacecraft and lunar vehicles to avoid disrupting the zone around the rover.

BE A SPONSOR OF A HISTORIC FIRST

Historic Opportunity
Be a pioneer in the first off-Earth nature sanctuary, the first landform artwork in space, and humanity’s first constructed site on the lunar surface.

Global Media Moment
Participate in first-of-a-kind project with coverage across science, nature, culture, art, and aerospace outlets, amplified by the rising public focus on lunar activity.

Category Creation
A founding moment for the off-Earth art and entertainment movement, timed precisely as commercial access to space accelerates.

Individual, Family Office, & Brand Alignment
Sponsors become associated with lunar stewardship, responsible exploration, and become known as a key player in the cultural narrative of humanity’s expansion beyond Earth.

IP Portfolio and Multiple ROI Channels
Opportunities for naming rights, media licensing, NFTs, limited-edition physical and digital artifacts, branded content, Earth-based experiences, and mission-aligned product collaborations.

Longevity
The sanctuary’s boundary will endure for millennia due to the Moon’s static environment and lack of weather or erosion. The site will be a permanent cultural asset to be visited for generations.
