SPACE STUDIO PRESENTS

DATA-MUSIC: MISSION ALPHA

Representing a unique moment in human history.

Never before has humankind made an album in space. Now is the time.

With new technological abilities and profoundly unique ways of making music, DATA-MUSIC: MISSION ALPHA will create the world’s first album in space, and the global debut of the generative Data Music genre.

Data Music uses unique technology to blend multiple styles into a “massive-collaboration” album.

PROCESS:

Pre-launch – Short musical fragments are co-written with Grammy-winning artists, symphonies, choirs, bands, and soloists.

In flight – Sensors aboard the Dragon capsule stream real-time data—position, velocity, vibration, pitch, yaw, rotation—while biometric monitors capture each astronaut’s heart rate, blood-oxygen level, G-force, and brainwaves.

Music Generation – Live data flows via Starlink to custom software that triggers and orchestrates the musical fragments, turning raw telemetry into an evolving composition.

Output – The journey’s soundtrack can be streamed live and is archived in ultra high definition as a permanent record of the historic mission.

With its collaborative architecture, innovative data engine, and power to unite humanity through sound, this mission is poised to become the voice of the space generation.
